Our Story

Transcon has been proudly serving our community since 1970. For over 50 years, we've helped keep freight moving as our region has grown and evolved. Originally focused on bulk and agricultural freight, we've continually adapted our services to meet the changing needs of local businesses and communities.

In January 2026, the Strongman Family proudly took over Transcon, continuing a long tradition of dependable, customer-focused transport. While ownership has changed over the years, the values that built Transcon remain the same: reliable service, honest communication, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers.

Based in Warkworth, we provide freight and logistics services throughout Auckland, Rodney, Northland, and beyond. From regular freight movements and urgent same-day deliveries to full truckloads and one-off jobs, we're committed to delivering every load safely, on time, and with a personal touch.

Our team knows the region inside and out—from Takapuna to Mangawhai, Kaiwaka to Karaka—making us a trusted local transport partner for businesses across the upper North Island.
